WunderNodes are the working horses of WunderGraph. Wundernodes are spread across the globe, running in many datacenters, ready to run your APIs as close to your users as possible.

WunderNodes authenticate your users and protect your APIs. They contain our hyperfast GraphQL Engine to resolve your users API calls, cache responses on the edge and generate useful analytics.

If you're using our fully managed service, you don't have to worry about WunderNodes at all.

If, on the other hand, you wish to operate your own WunderGraph Environments, you're able to run WunderNodes on premises.
